COGS Mission

Current Mission

Members of COGS try to live up to the name “Church of the Good Samaritan” by serving a meal and providing items from a choice pantry for our less fortunate neighbors. We having been doing this on the last Friday of each month for almost 5 years. In early 2017 we became able to facilitate even more outreach – simply by allowing a small group of individuals, who introduced themselves to us as “unaffiliated Christians,” to use our building (rent free) every Wednesday. In addition we make frequent contributions to Saul’s, Clermont County’s homeless shelter, and work with other local congregations to attempt to share God’s love and blessings.  We are also an open, affirming congregation.
